As the final day of our Fall Teaching Retreat, Zen Teachers Rinsen and Do'on offer a day-long workshop is an introduction to White Tara -- a female Buddha with special capacity to confer wisdom, longevity and emotional/physical healing. We will learn her enlightenment story and practice her sadhana and mantra. Special attention will be paid to her unique methods of guiding us to full and complete enlightenment. Along the way we will notice how she brings balance to the male and female energies, reminding us that enlightenment transcends gender.

Participants are invited to bring flowers for the altar in gratitude for receiving the teaching, and welcome to bring snacks to share.

Schedule: Arrival and morning set-up: 9:00 - 9:30 a.m. Morning session: 9:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. Lunch Break: 12 - 2:00 p.m. Afternoon session: 2:00 - 5 p.m.

Lunch: Please bring your own bagged lunch or plan to eat out.
